This privacy notice is part of the Terms of Use and serves to assist you in making an informed decision about using or continuing to use BluePont services.

BluePont is not responsible for any information, including location information, you yourself choose to disclose to any party.

BluePont collects, maintains, and utilizes your personal information and the real-time location of your mobile device ("location info"). The law requires us to protect the confidentiality of your location info. The law also requires us to get your express consent to collect, maintain, and utilize your location info. You have the right at any time to deny or withdraw your consent to provide your location info. In order to withdraw your consent you can either (a) change permissions to disallow BluePont Mobile application access to your GPS or LBS (cellular tower) information or (b) quit BluePont Mobile application by choosing Quit BluePont from the menu. In those versions of BluePont Mobile that ask you to enter your present location, you can stop entering your location at any time.

BluePont does not share your personal information or location info with other third-party companies or individuals without your express consent or unless you have specifically agreed to be part of a particular program.

Information Collected, Use of Information, and Consents

By registering with BluePont, you have agreed and consented: (a) to BluePont's collection, use, and maintenance of your location info; (b) to receive SMS text messages and/or e-mail messages; (c) that BluePont may terminate your account without notice and for any or no reason. You have the right at any time to deny or withdraw access to your location info. You have expressly agreed to receive SMS text messages from BluePont and you acknowledge that normal carrier charges may apply to SMS text messages. Every SMS message and e-mail will reference how to withdraw your consent to receiving messages should you wish to do so.

If the invite-a-friend feature is enabled by BluePont, you will be asked to provide your friend's mobile phone number and/or email address. BluePont will automatically send a one-time SMS text message and/or e-mail inviting your friend to join BluePont. Your friend may contact BluePont by clicking on Contact Us link to request removal from our databases.

Upon registration with BluePont, you provide certain personal information (such as mobile phone number, email address, etc.).

BluePont also receives your location info based on either your device GPS unit, or cellular tower information, or your own input of your present address or locality at the time of entry. BluePont employs customary technologies to facilitate its services such as cookies, automatic logging of your web sessions, and automatic logging of mobile device interactions with our servers, which may record your IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and other information.

BluePont uses your location info and your personal information to enable BluePont services. By way of example, BluePont uses your location info and your personal information such as age and age preferences, gender and gender preferences, etc. in order to determine whether to trigger a mobile meeting alert on your mobile device. The type of BluePont service you use determines whether there is a party to which your location info is displayed. If you use BluePont service that sends you an alert when there is a person in proximity matching your preferences, your location info is not displayed to any party. You are notified that a person is in proximity, and you can exchange messages in BluePont Mobile application with the person in proximity to determine if and where to meet. Such messages are anonymous in a sense that they do not contain your phone number unless you type it in as part of the message. In some BluePont services, you may be able to choose to share your location info with friends or in various other ways, which is based on the settings that you set and control. You can withdraw and deny location sharing with some or all parties at any time by changing your settings. Your location info may also be used by BluePont in an anonymous, personally unidentifiable, approximate manner to provide BluePont users with useful guidance.

We may use your email address or mobile number at any time for non-marketing purposes such as notifying you of BluePont service changes, security notices, and related issues.

Certain businesses or persons may have access to your personal information and your location info for the purposes of providing services to BluePont. Such parties may include, without limitation, software and/or database consultants developing and maintaining our systems, marketing partners referring their users to us, and statistical analysis consultants. We require that such parties abide by our privacy policy. Information may also be shared with others for aggregate statistical analysis in personally unidentifiable manner.

BluePont reserves the right to disclose information if required so by law or appropriate judicial action, or if BluePont deems appropriate to do so in case of a threat to safety of any individual or entity, or any other serious circumstance that warrants such disclosure, at BluePont's discretion.

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us via Conact Us link and requesting that your account be deleted. You can stop using BluePont Mobile software on your mobile device at any time by choosing Quit BluePont from the menu.

Information Security

BluePont utilizes commercially reasonable practices to safeguard your information. However, we cannot guarantee that such information may not be intercepted or altered due to breach of our safeguards. You therefore use BluePont services at your own risk.

Privacy of Minors

BluePont services are not aimed at persons under 18 years of age. If BluePont learns of an account created by a person under 18 years of age, such account will be immediately deleted. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not use or access our services in any manner.

Miscellaneous

BluePont operates out of the United States of America and by utilizing the service you consent to transferring your information to USA and agree to BluePont Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.

In case of a corporate event, including, without limitation, merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or dissolution, we cannot guarantee as to how your information will be processed.

This privacy policy may be amended or modified at any time without notice.
